I am super excited to share the news that in September 2017, I shall join the philosophy department at Durham University as a permanent lecturer in Post-Kantian Philosophy. I couldn't be happier about it!

Two great new volumes on Nineteenth-Century French Philosophy have recently been published that I have contributed to.
I'm going to be giving my paper 'Monkeys and Monads' at the Leibniz: Legacy and Impact at Manchester Metropolitan University in November.
I shall be giving my paper Condillac on the Acquisition of Cognitive Habits at the Scottish Seminar in Early Modern Philosophy on May 6th.
I thoroughly enjoyed giving my paper: Monkeys and Monads - George Holmes Howison, James Ward, and the Unexpected Marriage between Darwinian Evolutionary Theory and Leibnizian Metaphysics' at Harvard last Tuesday. I am going to give the paper again at the HOPOS 2016 conference at the University of Minnesota, June 22nd-25th. I am looking forward to the conference very much.

Thanks to a generous research grant from the Leverhulme Trust, I shall be spending January and February of 2016 doing research on pragmatism in the archives at the Houghton library in Harvard.
